TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Customer Identification (KYC/AML Compliance):
A valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) and National Tax Number (NTN) shall be mandatory for all transactions, in compliance with applicable Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations. Almas Jewellers reserves the right to request additional documentation or refuse any transaction where compliance requirements are not met.

2. Payment Methods:
Payments may be made via cash, bank transfer, cheque, or credit/debit cards. Any applicable banking or transaction charges imposed by financial institutions shall be borne by the customer.

3. Taxes and Charges:
All applicable taxes and duties shall be charged in accordance with the prevailing laws of Pakistan and relevant Statutory Regulatory Orders (SROs), and shall be clearly itemized on the invoice. These may include:

(a) General Sales Tax (GST): Currently applicable at 18% or as notified by law.
(b) Sindh Sales Tax (SST): Applicable on services, including online or card-based transactions, at prevailing rates (currently 3%, where applicable).
(c) Withholding Tax (WHT): Applicable on purchase transactions as per tax status:

(i) 1% for filer individuals/companies.
(ii) 2% for non-filer individuals/companies.  

or as prescribed under current law/SRO.  

(d) Bank/Payment Processing Charges: Up to 5.5% or as charged by the respective bank for card-based transactions.
(e) Service/Handling Charges: Any applicable service or processing charges shall be communicated prior to completion of the transaction.

4. Buyback Policy:
Almas Jewellers offers a buyback facility for gold bars strictly at the prevailing market rate at the time of return, subject to applicable deductions and verification. The original sales receipt must be presented.

5. Collection and Delivery:
Gold bars purchased online must be collected in person by the purchaser. Delivery services are not available. Risk and ownership shall transfer to the customer upon physical handover.

6. Market Risk Disclaimer:
Gold prices are subject to market fluctuations. Almas Jewellers shall not be liable for any loss or variation in value after completion of the transaction.

7. Ownership and Legality Declaration:
The seller hereby warrants that any gold bar sold to Almas Jewellers is their lawful property, free from any lien, charge, encumbrance, or third-party claim, and is not derived from any illegal or unlawful activity.

8. Compliance and Verification Rights:
Almas Jewellers reserves the right to verify customer identity, source of funds, and transaction details, and to suspend or cancel any transaction in case of suspicion or regulatory requirement.

9. No Discount Policy:
Reward vouchers, promotional discounts, or special offers shall not be applicable to gold bar transactions unless expressly stated in writing.

10. Limitation of Liability:
Almas Jewellers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, except where such loss arises due to proven negligence or willful misconduct.

11. Force Majeure:
The company shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, market disruptions, or system failures.

12. Amendments:
Almas Jewellers reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms shall apply to all transactions conducted after such revision.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Pakistan. The courts at Karachi shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.

14. Dispute Resolution:
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1940.
